Bake the world a sweeter place with Madhur Sugar:  4 of our Favorite Cookie Recipes


Isn’t baking a fun process to do?

We can add our favorite colors. We can design them in different shapes. And especially, most of us are fans of these baked snacks.

By the end of this blog post, you are going to know how you can bake

  1. Three Ingredients butter cookies

  2. Chocolate chip cookies

So, ready to know the recipes?

Here we go!!

1. Three ingredient Butter Cookies:           


  1. Room temperature butter – ¾ Cups

  2. Powdered Madhur sugar – ½ Cups

  3. All-purpose flour – 2 ¼ Cups

(Some granulated Madhur sugar for coating)

Let’s bake it:

  • Add the butter to a clean, dry bowl and beat it lightly.

  • Once the butter is lightly beaten, add powdered Madhur sugar.

  • Now beat both the powdered Madhur sugar and butter until they become fluffy.

  • Once the butter and sugar mixture is fluffy, we are all set to add in the flour.

  • Add the all-purpose flour and mix it.

  • Mix the mixture until it comes to a crumb texture.

  • Once you get the crumb texture, knead the mixture with your hand until it becomes a dough.

  • Now shape the dough to a long cuboid structure.

  • Roll this structure over a tray with granulated Madhur sugar.

  • Now wrap this dough with a plastic sheet and refrigerate it for 30 minutes until it becomes firm.

  • After 30 minutes, take the dough out and slice it into cookie pieces.

  • Bake these sliced pieces at 325F for 20 minutes till they turn to a light golden color.

  • After baking, your cookies are ready to fill in your snack time.


2. Chocolate Chip Cookies:


  1. Butter – 115 grams

  2. Madhur Sugar – 50 grams

  3. Light brown sugar – 120 grams

  4. Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

  5. One large egg at room temperature

  6. Baking soda - ½ tspn

  7. Baking powder – ¼ tspn

  8. Salt – ¼ tspn

  9. Chocolate – 250 grams

  10. All-purpose flour – 185 grams

Let’s bake it:

  • Add the butter, powdered Madhur sugar, and light brown sugar in a clean and dry bowl.

  • Beat the mixture until it becomes soft and fluffy.

  • Now add the sieved all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and mix it well.

  • Once the ingredients are mixed together, you’ll get a sticky consistency.

  • Now add the chocolate chips to the mixture and bind them together.

  • Once this mixture is done, make small balls out of the mixture and place them over your baking tray.

  • Make sure you are placing butter paper over the tray, and you are placing the cookie balls.

  • Once you place these balls on the tray, place them in a preheated oven in180 Degree Celsius or 350F for 10 to 12 minutes.

  • After baking for 10 to 12 minutes, your crispy and yummy cookies are ready for your tea party.


3. Meringue cookies:


  1. 3 Egg whites

  2. A pinch of salt

  3. ¾ cup of powdered Madhur sugar (150 grams)

  4. Ten drops of lemon juice

Let’s bake it:

  • Before starting the procedure, make sure your mixing bowl and the beater are completely clean and dry. Because if they are wet, it becomes difficult to get consistency.

  • Add three egg whites, ten drops of lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to your mixing bowl.

  • This process consumes more time to get the consistency with an electric beater. If it takes this much time for an electric beater, then the process is going to be more difficult with a wire whisk. So, for this recipe, use an electric beater.

  • Now beat the mixture at slow speed for two minutes, until you get froth in it.

  • Once you get the foam, start adding the powdered Madhur sugar little by little. Avoid adding the sugar in bulk for this recipe as it changes the texture of the cookie.

  • Once you are done adding all the sugar, now start beating at high speed until you get stiff peaks.

  • The peaks of this mixture should be stiff so that even if you flip the bowl, the mixture shouldn’t fall down.

  • Once you get this consistency, you are all set for baking.

  • If you want to add any colors, then you can do it now. Add two to three drops of the color you need and mix the mixture slowly.

  • Once the color is nicely mixed with our cookie mixture, transfer it to a piping bag with your favorite nozzle.

  • And then squeeze it to your preferred size and lift it on the baking tray with butter paper.

  • Now bake these cuties for 60 minutes under 90 degrees Celsius.

  • Note: Even after completing this 60 minutes, you need to leave the meringues inside the oven for the next one hour. So that the moisture completely goes out of the meringues, and you get your meringues more crispy.

  • After two hours, your meringues are ready to crunch!!

4. Almond cookies:


  1. Butter – 100 grams

  2. Powdered Madhur sugar – 60 grams

  3. Salt – two pinches

  4. Egg – 1

  5. Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

  6. All-purpose flour – 100 grams

  7. Almond powder – 120 grams

  8. Baking powder – 1 gram

Let’s bake it:

  • In a clean mixing bowl, add butter, powdered Madhur sugar, two pinches of salt, and mix them well.

  • Once you evenly mix it, add one egg to the mixture. Make sure the egg and the mixture are mixed well.

  • Now, add all-purpose flour, almond powder, and baking powder to the mixture.

  • Once you add dry ingredients, you need to mix the dough in a chopping motion. Repeat this movement until you get the proper consistency for the dough.

  • When the dough winds up properly, wrap it up completely and refrigerate the dough for 20 to 30 minutes.

  • After refrigerating, take up the dough, make them into balls and shape them to cookie size. 

  • Before baking, coat the cookie with a mixture of egg yolk and milk.

  • After this, bake the cookies under 170 to 180 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.

  • Once all this is done, your cookies are ready to crunch.
